What are a few things we can all do as Leaders to foster this perspective of Wholesome Inclusion? Here are a few tips for you :

    1) Embrace the beauty of diversity – just like fingerprints, we all possess different abilities.
Beethoven, the deaf composer, and Helen Keller, the blind author and activist, prove that unique abilities can yield greatness.

    2) Don’t be limited by labels like “Dyslexia” and “Down Syndrome” . Look with new eyes beyond the so called brokenness . Dyslexia didn’t stop Richard Branson or Steve Jobs from becoming entrepreneurial legends.

    3) All of us have our own special capacities; it’s what makes us extraordinary.
The compassion of a child with Down syndrome and the healing gifts of someone on the autism spectrum highlight their unique abilities.
Instead of measuring intelligence and capability on standard scales, let’s focus on how smart a person is in their own way.

    4) In organizations, forcing the wrong fit can lead to problems; square holes don’t work for round pegs. Look empathetically at the STRENGHTS of people, their special abilities and then give them roles. If they cannot find the right role in your organisation, place them where they can.

    5) Shift the perspective from “Persons With Disabilities” (PWDs) to “Persons With Different Abilities” (PWDAs) to include everyone. We’re all PWDAs – no need for segregation. True inclusion means embracing this amazing human diversity diversity.

Some more Leadership tips: 6) See everyone as PWDA, celebrate unique abilities, and harness neurodiversity.
    7) The workplace thrives when cultures, races, and peoples contribute their unique strengths.
Reassign tasks based on people’s superpowers and strong abilities – unleash their potential.
