Autonomy is being shown to be a fundamental human need with research, indicating, (particularly in relation to chronic stress) its impact on blood pressure. More so than for example, m…[Read more]

Hi yes – we have used it to help people prepare themselves for
important meetings, presentations and/or speeches.
You can also use it to further develop technical skills as you work through the specifics in your mind of what you need to do.Visualisation. Its so simple, so powerful and something we can all do. It works because the mind can’t rea…[Read more]

Yet it’s not the end, more a stepping stone on the path to success. It’s helpful to keep in mind that many great leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs have experienced f…[Read more]

1 year, 4 months agoIt’s a tough gig learning the skills to be a great leader. Where do you start? There is so much out there to read, digest and put into practice. All on top of the day job. We can spend so long reading the books and learning the different models and frameworks that the practice of leadership almost gets overlooked. And yet the practice of l…[Read more]

1 year, 4 months agoNeuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to rewire itself, plays a pivotal role in shaping leadership style and the more we understand how the brain works the more we can leverage this wonderful capability.
For greater balance and improved leadership practice we can use focused attention and proven tools and techniques to intentionally rewire our…[Read more]

1 year, 4 months agoGetting ready for an important meeting, presentation or talk is more than just knowing your content. Its also about how we convey the content through the use of our body, tone of voice and emotion. So practice in front of a mirror or better still video yourself. Get comfortable with how you look and sound.

1 year, 7 months agoIs Hybrid working, working? I’m hearing mixed reports now, with isolation and lack of intrinsic learning starting to get talked about more often. The option of flexible working may be here to stay but how it manifests in reality may be something we need to keep assessing and working on together. I am interested in other views and experiences so…[Read more]

Yes and implementation will differ individual to individual and even at different times in an individuals life. Organisation, therefore will need to be much better at continual listening and adapting than perhaps some (not all) might have been in the past.

1 year, 7 months agoHuman behaviour and alignment between brain, mind and body is critical to long-term wellness and performance, for the individual and business to thrive. It surprises me then that this is not a key feature of the modern business school curriculum. Leaders and managers should be as familiar with the research and impact of human energy on…[Read more]

1 year, 7 months agoI would be interested in how people think AI is going to change the nature of the roles we do as well as the roles themselves. It is a very exciting and also frightening time. The development of Chatgpt, Perplexity and copy.ai plus many others are shaping not just the way we work but also the actual work we do. I think relationship, emotional…[Read more]

I agree, I think we should try and master these technologies to utilise them in the most efficient way. The goal should be to drive technology and not let technology drive us.

1 year, 8 months agoOnly so many hours!
We all know there are only so many hours in a day, yet so many of us continue to try and squeeze and push as much into that day as we possibly can.
Despite all modern advances and progress the 24-hour cycle is finite, it’s all that’s available. In addition, for at least 6.5 – 9 of those hours, we should be asleep; to rest…[Read more]

1 year, 9 months agoEverything we do starts with a chemical reaction in the brain, however, when considering wellness many of us rarely think about brain health. I know I never used to.
