I believe AI can work alongside humans to expand what we do and how we do it, potentially contributing to humanity – certainly in the short to medium term. Some aspects of jobs and maybe all aspects of some jobs will no doubt disappear, however, new roles and activities will spring up, just as they did during the industrial revolution. Longer term it will depend on how well we control AI, the ethics we lay down, how we manage what we do. I don’t know enough about this to pass comment, however, I am aware that it is something the titans of the tech industry are very focused on. Its in all our interests that they work it out.
