I would be interested in how people think AI is going to change the nature of the roles we do as well as the roles themselves. It is a very exciting and also frightening time. The development of Chatgpt, Perplexity and copy.ai plus many others are shaping not just the way we work but also the actual work we do. I think relationship, emotional and social skills will all become much more important, if we are to stay relevant in the new world.

      • I believe AI can work alongside humans to expand what we do and how we do it, potentially contributing to humanity – certainly in the short to medium term. Some aspects of jobs and maybe all aspects of some jobs will no doubt disappear, however, new roles and activities will spring up, just as they did during the industrial revolution. Longer term it will depend on how well we control AI, the ethics we lay down, how we manage what we do. I don’t know enough about this to pass comment, however, I am aware that it is something the titans of the tech industry are very focused on. Its in all our interests that they work it out.

    • I agree, I think we should try and master these technologies to utilise them in the most efficient way. The goal should be to drive technology and not let technology drive us.
