Deborah Hulme posted an update in the group Wellness & Wellbeing
1 year, 9 months agoEverything we do starts with a chemical reaction in the brain, however, when considering wellness many of us rarely think about brain health. I know I never used to. Yet things such as foggy brain, forgetfulness and overwhelm can all point to a brain that is in need of some tender care. Sleep, good nutrition, social connection, exercise, focus time, rest and play – to be healthy the brain needs balance, not excess. I find, particularly during busy periods, it is always worth reminding myself of that, making sure that there is always time for play, rest and fun with friends and family.

so well said Deborah..in fact, Im wondering whether its “cell health” because the whole body is involved in most things you mentioned above – play, exercise, social connection, etc

Yes you are right Rajesh and when talking about this in workshops I often break it down into Brain, Mind, Body, Stress Management and Social Connection – it is the whole self and I like your reference to ‘cell health’.
