1 year, 7 months agoYOLO | the emerging trendIf 2020-21 was a year of grieving over deaths and dealing with sickness, 2022-23 has been about bouncing back. Something strange has happened to the workforce post the pandemic. The dread and anxiety of the past years have given way to a new kind of professional mindset where employees across the world are increasingly…[Read more]

Many individuals, especially younger generations, are reevaluating their priorities. They’re placing a greater emphasis on work-life balance, personal well-being, and experiences rather than solely focusing on career and financial success. The trend has led to a growing desire for flexible work arrangements, such as remote work or hybrid…[Read more]

It’s been almost 2 years we are out of COVID. Human beings have a tendency to forget things with time, unless it’s a prolonged experience. I am sure, with time, the memories of COVID for many will fade. So what YOLO really means? Its not about making rash or stupid choices. YOLO has a much deeper meaning and purpose. YOLO only will constantly n…[Read more]

1 year, 7 months agoIs Hybrid working, working? I’m hearing mixed reports now, with isolation and lack of intrinsic learning starting to get talked about more often. The option of flexible working may be here to stay but how it manifests in reality may be something we need to keep assessing and working on together. I am interested in other views and experiences so…[Read more]

Yes and implementation will differ individual to individual and even at different times in an individuals life. Organisation, therefore will need to be much better at continual listening and adapting than perhaps some (not all) might have been in the past.

1 year, 7 months agoHuman behaviour and alignment between brain, mind and body is critical to long-term wellness and performance, for the individual and business to thrive. It surprises me then that this is not a key feature of the modern business school curriculum. Leaders and managers should be as familiar with the research and impact of human energy on…[Read more]

1 year, 7 months agoTo improve employee wellbeing, you really have to know what makes staff tick–both in positive and negative ways.
Staff burnout and lack of engagement are (unfortunately) commonplace now more than ever.
For instance, recent research shows that 75% of employees have dealt with burnout at some point – with 40% of them stating it’s gotten worse…[Read more]

1 year, 7 months agoI would be interested in how people think AI is going to change the nature of the roles we do as well as the roles themselves. It is a very exciting and also frightening time. The development of Chatgpt, Perplexity and copy.ai plus many others are shaping not just the way we work but also the actual work we do. I think relationship, emotional…[Read more]

I agree, I think we should try and master these technologies to utilise them in the most efficient way. The goal should be to drive technology and not let technology drive us.

I agree, however I think that while many of us know what we need to do, we struggle with the how. We understand so much more now about how the brain works and the link between brain, mind and body yet the knowledge struggles to be heard. We may need some additional education and learning to really understand how to bring it alive day-to-day.…[Read more]
